Description
SS 304 (1.4301) / SS 304L (1.4307) Seamless Pipes & Tubes Jindal with MTC 3.1
SS 304 / 304L Seamless Pipe has a minimum of 18% chromium and 8% nickel. The only difference between them is the carbon content. SS 304 has a maximum carbon of 0.08%. SS 304L has maximum carbon of 0.030 %. This range of carbon in the steels affects the corrosion resistance.
304/304L stainless steel Pipes & Tubes is one of the most widely used stainless steel grades. It has a low carbon content and high chromium and nickel composition. It is readily drawn and formed, and shows good strength and outstanding corrosion resistance, including protection against intergranular corrosion during welding.
SS304 is part of the austenitic steel family. One of the disadvantages of austenitic steels is that it cannot be hardened by heat treatment. This aside, 304 is an incredibly versatile stainless steel grade that can be readily drawn and formed. Both hardness and strength can be improved through cold working. It has good ductility in the annealed condition. Additionally, SS304L demonstrates excellent corrosion resistance given its ultra low carbon makeup.
SS 304 / 304L Seamless Pipe is stocked by us from reputed Indian Mill like JSW, Jindal, Tubacex etc which are Approved under EIL, RIL, L&T, IOCL, BPCL, NPCIL, NTPC, TOYO ENGG, Major Industries in Nuclear, Refinery, Power as well as Major EPC’s and also some international approvals.
This Seamless Pipes comes as Dual Certified which is acceptable under both 304 & 304L Grades.
