SAE 4130 Round Bars / AISI 4130 Round Bars
SAE 4130 (AISI 4130) Round Bars is a chromium molybdenum alloy steel. SAE / AISI 4130 Steel is a low alloy steel which is excellent from the fusion weldability standpoint. Alloy Steel 4130 can be hardened by heat treatment.
The 1.7218 (25CrMo4) it is also known under the classification AISI 4130.
The SAE4130 is a chrome-molybdenum alloyed tempering steel with good welding properties. Due to its chemical composition, it is suitable for tempering and due to the very good toughness has good tensile strengths, which is why it is used primarily for components in which these characteristics are very important.
