A387 Grade 5 Class 2 / SA387 Grade 5 Class 2 is high quality chrome molybdenum alloy steel plate intended specifically for use in weldable carbon steel pressure vessels at elevated temperatures. Added molybdenum gives the material greater temperature tensile strength and the chromium provides improved corrosion resistance.
We Textron Steel and Alloys Stock and supply SA387 Grade 5 Class 2 plates from our own stockholding in Mumbai or directly from the mill. All plates come with mill test certification and individual stampings.
