ERCuNi MIG / TIG Wire
ERCuNi Wire is used for gas metal and gas tungsten arc welding. Can also be used by oxy-fuel welding of 70/30, 80/20, and 90/10 copper nickel alloys.
ERCuNi Copper Nickel Alloy Welding Wire is especially good for seawater corrosion resistance. It is particularly suitable for the welding and hard facing of copper-nickel such as machinery, desalting of seawater, ship-building, oil refinery, and food processing industries. This copper-nickel alloy wire is also suitable for welding of nonferrous alloys, dissimilar steel materials.
This alloy can be used for dissimilar welding applications welding various copper-nickel alloys to nickel alloys and various other copper-nickel alloys. ERCuNi is occasionally used for overlay on carbon steel, but can only be used after applying a layer of ERNi-1 first.

Applications of ERCuNi Wire :
AWS A5.7 ERCuNi is used in Desalination plant, Evaporators and etc in salt and seawater processing system,etc
Ideally suited for offshore applications because of its good resistance to the corrosion in seawater. It is also suitable for chemical process equipments, oil refineries, food industries, etc.
ERCuNi is used for gas metal and gas tungsten arc welding. Can also be used by oxy-fuel welding of 70/30, 80/20, and 90/10 copper nickel alloys. A barrier layer of nickel alloy 610 is recommended prior to overlaying steel with GMAW weld process.
ERCuNi is a solid wire for TIG welding, available in bright finish, gives smooth flow, stable arc and spatter free under optimum welding conditions. It is for joining and surfacing of wrought and cast alloys of similar composition as well as 80/20 and 90/10 alloys. Ideally suited for offshore applications because of its good resistance to the corrosion in seawater. It is also suitable for chemical process equipments, oil refineries, food industries, etc.
