Description
EN39B Round Bars / 835M15 Steel Case Hardening
EN39B Round Bars is a 3.90 to 4.30% Nickel Chromium Molybdenum carburising steel, generally supplied annealed to HB 277 max. Carburised and heat treated it develops a hard wear resistant case of about Rc 6-63 and a tough strong core with a typical tensile strength range 1000-1400 MPa, in small to quite large sections.
EN39B is a case hardening steel which may be carburised and hardened in large sections to produce a hard wear resistance case, and developing a core strength of the order of 1310N/mm ² with good resistance to shock.
We Textron Steel and Alloys Hold stock of EN39B Case Hardening Round Bars and can also arrange bulk qty of make to order basis.
